I have not tried neither, anyone have experience with these?
L-citrulline , is an amino acid. Available alone or it’s found in abundance in watermelon and “shows a significantly ameliorative effect on post-workout muscle pain, or delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS)”. Since watermelon is a FODMAP I’d rather try the amino acid supplement.
Tart cherry juice- Something I’ve never tried the grocery store has it, and quarts kind of expensive.
I recover much better from workouts post lyme but I would still like to improve it if possible.
I take vegetable-based protein, Milk and gluten free, after More intense workouts, but I can honestly say that protein ingestion never gave me positive effects that I could tell or feel.
I've tried different amino acids including that one. Not separate but together I've taken them. Suppose to be good for rebuilding muscle wasting as well. I take an electrolyte powder which is a must for me now (has magnesium and potassium in it) plus add pink Himalayan sea salt. That'll take care of muscle pain, fatigue, energy post work out. I actually do it when I'm using the sauna as well.
