There's a whole world of that out there. Everyone is different, yes, but the hell is quite similar to this, or so it seems. That is why I have been saying what I've been saying. https://www.benzo.org.uk/manual/bzsched.htm
She passed but her work is still recognized as one of the best ways to come off. If you come off improperly, you could really screw up your brain. If you come off within a couple of weeks and are fine, you might be lucky, but there are some that use benzos for a couple of weeks and then are in it for 2 years. That's part of why this is so tough, because in 2018 I felt I may have had this being on them and even at my dose (you can be at any dose for this to happen) my brain and body simply stopped accepting them.
As far as receptors and the brain, I am referring to both. Antibiotics change neurochemicals throughout the body. For example, I'm on Amox Clav right now and I know that it affects serotonin. We actually don't even know how all of these drugs work entirely, so we gamble when we take various antibiotics. With each and everything we consume, we are changing GABA, glutamate, etc. but of course this goes deeper than these specific chemicals, it can change the actual receptor sites, which then we have to wait for those to heal (depending on the person, it all varies). That is part of why I fear them. I'm just the biggest fan of convention western medicine due to knowing how they can affect you (and they have affected me) and so I am wary. That doesn't mean I want to jump on herbs either, they can be even worse at times. I feel like I am stuck in a loop.
