I’m currently on Malarone regimen treating mostly Babesia + Bartonella - since 1.5 month.
After switching to Babesia regimen I felt 80% better in about week or two, and felt like that for maybe a month.
Then my doctor added 3rd antibiotic, which is pretty strong and everything started to go downhill.
I had multiple rashes on neck, skin and started to face typical Candida symptoms like hypoglycemia, stomach pain, digestive issues, slurres speech, metalic taste in mouth, bad breath low energy, brain fog and stuff like that, and I started to feel horrible again.
In that state I have big issues with keeping my job duties as it’s physical job.
I wonder what should I do - my doctor requested me to do D-arabinitol testing for Candida, but result waiting time is about 3 months, and I can’t wait that long feeling like that.
I’m currently taking fluconazole 100 mg 2 times a week prophylactically since starting working with that doctor, but I wonder if it’s enough if my Candida problem is big.
Should I treat Candida while taking antibiotics or take them off and risk Babesia flop? What would you do in my situation?
