I’m doing good - really good.
I am back to work and off treatment. I am in remission now. No more LLMD appts, no more abx.
Wow! That's fantastic! I'm so happy to hear this. How does it feel to be living life again?////////////////////////////////////
It feels fantastic.
I do have a residual “symptom”
It’s around my scapula - left side. It was my very first symptom.
It’s tight and painful but it’s very minor. I would say it’s about
90% better?
And my short term memory - it’s better - but not like it used to be.
Hubby and I have been making plans now to do fun things.
We went to a concert in May and we have tickets for ColdPlay concert in September.//////////////////////////////
That's amazing, Girlie, I'm so happy for you! Do you think your short term memory will return? Has your doc said anything about
that? That seems to be a weak point with all of us. It seems like you can live with the current setup just fine, though. Kind of you to still come here regularly, considering you're off living life again.//////////////////////////////////////
I don’t know if my short term memory will get any better.
I don’t see my llmd anymore.
I live on the west coast of Canada - in the province British Columbia. I literally have to travel across the country to see Dr J. It’s about
$5000.00 (flights x2, hotel for three nights, meals and in US $.
It’s hard to compare to what it used to be. I don’t know what is “normal”
I have all my appts on a calendar - dentist, doctor, etc.
When I wake up in the morning - before I get out of bed - I try to recall what I have on the calendar for the day.
Sometimes I recall… sometimes I don’t.
As long as it doesn’t get worse - I’m ok with it.
