about
a month ago, I did something really stupid. I tried to lift up the front end of the washing machine to vacuum underneath it. I injured my lower back as a result. I felt it a couple days later. I took Aleve a couple times, and thought everything was fine.
A week ago today (last Saturday), I cut the grass and blew off the patio and the lawnmower. Sunday, I didn’t notice anything. Monday morning I woke up with pain across my lower back like somebody had hit me with a baseball bat square across my low back line. In addition, I felt a pull or strain deep inside my lower abdomen. I had no abdominal pain or strain after the initial injury. This was different and worse.
I took an Aleve Monday morning, thinking it would work quickly and easily like before. It didn’t. Tuesday morning the pain was just as bad as the day before. I have taken Aleve every 12 hours since Tuesday morning. Today’s Saturday. It helps, but I still feel pain if I do something that aggravates it.
I have tried to be careful, but life doesn’t stop, you know. Yesterday, I had to lift 2 cases of water. I felt some strain, but it was okay.
Tonight, I was squatting down and then started using both hands trying to clean out a measuring cup. As soon as I started using both hands while squatting, I felt the burn go across my lower back, then up my sides to my waist and over my hips like a girdle.
I am very discouraged that I am still feeling and dealing with this almost a week later even while on Aleve every 12 hours. I can’t keep taking Aleve, and I don’t know how to stop aggravating it.
Do you know what this is? Do you have an idea from the descript
ion of what exactly I injured and how to fix it?
