Bactrim nausea herx?

I took a bactrim last night and got awfully nausea and ended up vomiting. Is it common to gt nausea as soon as you start abx or is it common with bactrim? I'm still nausea this morning and that's the only thing I did last night. Feels like pregnancy nausea I almost forgot what it feels like although there's no chance of me being pregnant. Has anyone gotten wicked nausea off of abx, if so how soon agyer starting it? Also ,my poop smells something awful while on bactrim, no diareah though. Just regular stools

unfortunately, its a common listed side effect of most, if not all abx,
some abx more than others - some individuals more than others.

the usual recommendation is to try taking them with food - as in general this is found to reduce nausea from abx

a few abx have to be taken on an empty stomach - so best to check - but most can be taken with food.

Stinky poop is often due to bartonella die off.

I couldn't tolerate bactrim as it really screwed up my sodium/potassium. It was effective on bartonella though.

Really?? I'll keep that in mind, I would hab3 never guessed that. Bartonella does a lot. The bactrim is actually making me poop more which Is wierd because I usually have a hard time going as it is. I definitely noticed once on the bactrim, my poop smelled of like rotted eggs or something and I'm like what is that . Sorry for the TMI. Also my sodium/potassium was screwed up due to adrenal fatigue way before the bactrim so I just make sure I keep it in check as it is.

What if I never gt nausea with bactrim before? Can it still happen randomly?
