Is Girle Still Posting Here?

Nope - She got locked out with the change over to teh new site

as far as i can tell - she changed her password to access the new site - and when that got taken down and the old site ( the one we are on now) was put back up - it needed the old password to access it - which Girlie does not have - hence she is locked out

as far as i know the reset password link is now not working - so no way to reset it
( if anyone had found different please let me know and i will pass it on)

The reset link works for me. I've entered Girlie's email address, hopefully she gets the email.

last i was in touch with her she had tried 2 diff addresses but not got any emails

i think she is pretty hacked off with it

Girlie has been emailing me. She said when she tries to login to the forum, it doesn’t recognize her email address.

That could be the reason why. When logging in, you don't use your email address.
There are 3 variables:

1) Login name: what you set to login with (not an email address).

2) Username: the name that others see on the forum when you post.

3) Email address: the email address for notifications.

It's the first one that she should use (login name). Unfortunately, I don't know what hers is.

Well all's well that runs out well! Girlie, you have been a staple for years here now. Glad you are back on. I also think of Traveler and hope she is okay.

I haven't talked to Traveler for a long time.
I'll try to connect with her and see how she is doing.

Apparently I can only get on the forum when I use my computer.

When I log in with my iPhone - I get "404- File directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed had it's name changed or is temporarily unavailable"

That's a drag... as I prefer my phone - don't like sitting at my computer...I often post when I'm watching tv.

i am getting a similar effect when i login from my PC - if i click on the "Lyme Disease" option in the drop down for "Support forums" - in the main Healingwell front page
then my PC redirects me to the url of the new site - which is down - and gives 404 error - even if i am logged in

if i do the same on my PC in incognito mode - the same link takes me to this forum
so i think the PC has some saved setting that is causing this

i suspect your phones browser is doing something similar - and clearing cache and or cookies will fix it -

I use my phone, too. That’s what happened to me. I followed Dude’s instructions and found the place on my phone. I think I went to settings and found the different web browsers and clicked on those icons and saw something somewhere that said cache. I clicked on that and the clear option, and it worked. I didn’t really know what I was doing. I just kept looking until I found the word cache somewhere.

I'll ask my husband to do it...lol. He. is more computer/iPhone savvy than me.
