Hi Goingfar,
You said that you are “curious about
people's different levels of functioning on herbs.”
In my case I was trying to rid my body of parasites (with anti parasitics) first then after about
6 months I added more herbal tinctures to combat more specifically Lyme and coinfections. Also, some of the things that I was taking for parasites would be of some help with Lyme & cos… And to be honest I think that I was taking Cryptolepis tincture to start on Lyme & cos. while on anti parasitics.
I started taking Ivermectin, nitazoxide, Fenbendazole and Black walnut woodworm tincture. I would start with taking one of them (3xday) and then skip 5 days then take it again (3xday) skip 5…I change to a different one after a few cycles…I did this for 6 months.
(The only one I took 2xday was the nitazoxide because that came in a 6 pill package.)
After the 6 months I started taking skullcap, Black Walnut woodworm & Japanese knotweed tinctures…And was detoxing with herbal teas, Quercetin with Bromelain, NAC & Turmeric…among others.
When I got to about
2-3 months I was seeing some improvement but still not as much as I’d like. (I keep having this rash on my hands and dryness and wrinkles that never seem to go away.
So now along with my herbal tinctures I’m back to pulsing with ivermectin 2xday-7 days on 7 days off and after a few weeks I see a little more improvement.
In summary: I believe parasites were leaving my body…I never had terrible herx reactions just loose stool that at times looked strange to me and I had stuffy nose with light green contents.
As for herbal tinctures I don’t have bad herx reactions either. Maybe this is because of getting rid the parasites first.
As another note: I did have to go gluten free, dairy free and sugar free.
Hope this helps,
