I haven't had this test myself but I recall Dr Myhill talking about
how MCAS is an inflammatory response driven by allergens, multiple infections and the fermenting gut. She said to do all the interventions to damp down inflammation to switch from th1 to th2 state. She said these can all be used generally to reduce inflammation not just for MCAS
She recommends the following:
do the paleo ketogenic diet
take vit c to bowel tolerance / high dose vitamin c
Vit d
High dose vit c
Magnesium (this stabilises cells)
Omega oils
Cbd
Low dose naltrexone
B12
Detoxing
Certain herbs
Dr Klinghardt also talks about
TH1 / TH2 dominance - he says he sees one more commonly with lyme and chronic infection and the other with cancer but I can't remember which way around he said. So you are likely to either have chronic infection or cancer but not both
Dr Mark Su says that TH2 dominance is usually seen with parasitic infections
Curious what is the reason you did this test?
Also re cortisol - our body makes cortisol naturally so if you have low cortisol on a salvia or blood test and are taking a physiological dose of 20-30mg up to twice per day this is not immuno suppressive because it's what our bodies make naturally. When you go above these doses it is when it can become immuno suppressive. It's advised to avoid these high doses when someone has chronic infections because they can suppress the immune system and cause the infections to flare up. Don't quote me on these exact dosages, definitely do some research before starting it's just what I have learnt from a couple of different doctors
