Positive IgG, IgM, or both?

I was IgM positive several years ago, had a round of doxycycline, and then tested IgM negative.

Chlamydia pneumoniae is a common infection, often contracted in childhood and thought to be a cold. You might test positive for the antibodies for the rest of your life, as many do, without it indicating that this infection is active and contributing to your symptoms. If you're worried that this is an underlying infection contributing to your chronic illness, then it makes sense to try the advice from Buhner and others.

I'm not sure I'd take antibiotics for a cell wall-deficient intracellular organism that might not be active currently unless I were already taking the antibiotic for something else. I read that macrolides and doxycycline have some activity against it, but I don't know how effective they are past the acute stage.
