As lymies age, this could get very confusing, seeing traditional healthcare providers.
Edit/add: symptoms of very low Thyroid can also be some of the same (but not brain changes).
As far as I can tell from reading about
this for the last 10 years, as once you’ve had lyme for a long time, many are never completely symptom-free there’s always something that remains. Just maybe not to the extent that it once was.
Many who got better here in the past got to the point where I was at a few years ago, 90% better, but then they left. Sorry to disappoint new members, but this is kind of a thing (90% healed). As you age, this could get confusing.🫤
I’ve had traditional symptoms of all three as many of you have in the past.
What Traditional healthcare needs is neurological doctors that knows all three of these verses specializing in one area and not recognizing the rest.
They need to be able to recognize this on an MRI also.
The Nuerquant MRI (?…Whatever the name ) used by a few llmd’s 5 to 8 years ago? It never got popular enough for regular doctors to understand what it was or how to interpreted. Llmd’s didn’t even know how to interpret it. That’s how confusing the results were.
It’s absolutely ridiculous how behind times they are.
Rainey’s MRI post led me to think about
this.
Anyone over 50 here should understand the importance of this. And for those not in their 50s, well, you will be someday.
