testing for lyme is a complex subject - mainly because there are no fool proof black and white tests available, as there are for many other infectious diseases.

instead diagnosis is supposed to be clinical - ie based on signs, symptoms and history performed by a qualified expert. with blood testing being mainly supportive of a clinical diagnosis.

this looks like a western blot IgG blood test for lyme -
to add to the complexity - different countries and sometimes different labs, have arrived at different criteria for positive / negative interpretation of these tests - and different labs use different antigens in the test kit itself.

the test result is officially negative by most criteria - as most countries / labs require more than one IgG band before declaring a positive result

that said, there are a large number of indeterminate bands and one positive band in this result.

so, while officially negative by most criteria, blood tests for lyme are known to perform poorly, and are known to miss a significant portion of infected patients.

As such a test with a number of indeterminate bands( neither clearly negative or clearly positive) and one positive may raise the suspicion of lyme disease, especially in the context of a patient with multiple symptoms consistent with lyme disease and / or a history of tick exposure.
