We have a different system here in Canada.
We don’t pay for medical appointments or procedures…it’s covered by the government.
But services like physio and chiropractor we pay. If you have a good job - and have extended medical - then you can get reimbursed for the charges.
Yep. That wouldn’t work in America cause so much of the tax money is used to have the latest and greatest weapons since there’s some countries that wouldn’t really mind vaporizing us.
Even our government Medicare, which is for retired people over the age of 62, or maybe 65 is not 100% covered. The reason why is because you still see the same Profit based clinics, the only difference is the government is paying instead of you.
From what of heard of people that lived in both countries, is if you can afford healthcare in America, it’s still better versus Canada or the UK. 🤔
