Sot and Lyme

Thinking about trying SOT. Looking for some feedback. Prices, how many treatments, results, where you have gone. Etc. please share

I know lots of folks from other forums and from real life who have tried SOT. My anecdotal data is that for every person who says SOT was a miracle for them, there are about a dozen people who say it did nothing and was a massive waste of money. For me that's not compelling, even though I know the description of the treatment sounds good, especially when we feel like we've tried everything else and are still sick! As someone who has tried my fair share of expensive fringe treatments, I won't ever judge someone for trying something new. Please report back and let us know how it goes if you do SOT!

I did 4 SOT’s so far and I plan to do more. I did all 4 in 2023, spaced a bit over a month apart. Since I have 11 coinfections and am very sick, I chose to get SOT’s for Borrelia burgdorferi, Bartonella henslae, Babesia microti, and Epstein Barr Virus.

Overall I made some major progress, verified by comparing my 2023 testing to my 2024 testing using the same Vibrant Tickborne 2.0 panel. I am also using herbal tinctures as part of a treatment plan from my LLMD. I would recommend getting the SOT’s actually. I had untreated and misdiagnosed Lyme for 20 years and just started treatment in Jan 2023. My titers for Borrelia went down significantly, Babesia went down significantly, Bartonella went down significantly and Epstein Barr went down a little bit. If I remember correctly, RGCC (the lab that makes the SOT’s) and doctors with SOT clinical experience recommend 2-3 SOT’s to treat Lyme, 1-3 to treat Bartonella, 2-3 for Epstein Barr and usually 1 SOT for every other infection on their list. So basically I’m either 1/3 done with treatment or 1/2 done with treatment for those infections. When I go back for this next round of SOT’s, I will get another Borrelia burgdorferi, another Epstein Barr one, and 2 others which are still undecided (since now my Babesia and Bartonella numbers are so low I’m not sure if I need to do another SOT on those so my doctors might choose to target 2 new different coinfections this time).

Also, - in March this year, I discovered that the house I had been living in had horrendous levels of mold. I have since moved out into a safer space. But that is to say, that the SOT’s made significant, measurable progress DESPITE the fact that I was living in mold. I believe that this next round of SOT’s will be even more effective now, in my new living space.

I recommend it, based on my personal experience and my test results. The price of SOT’s varies by clinic, I believe the straight cost to the clinic to submit SOT is 1400$ and clinic up charge from there, for blood draws, infusion costs, doctor visits, etc. I went to a clinic in Texas that was less expensive than some of the more renowned? famous? places.
