A few highlights:

  • "New research shows that parasitic nematodes, responsible for infecting more than a billion people globally, carry viruses that may solve the puzzle of why some cause serious diseases."

  • "91 RNA viruses in 28 species of parasitic nematodes, representing 70% of those that infect people and animals."

  • "Only five of which were previously known"

  • “This raises the question of whether any of the diseases that these parasites are responsible for could be driven by the virus rather than directly by the parasitic nematode.”

yep - every living thing on the planet carries many many viruses

even the bacteria themselves have their own viruses (phages)

even a liter of seawater typically contains at least 10 billion viruses

of course the vast majority are completely harmless to humans

garzie I just noticed you take T4 and T3 in your information section, do you self treat or get it prescribed? thanks

my GP prescribes the T4 - they will not even consider prescribing T3 - apparently due to cost of over £200 per month and their backward dogma that its not needed - despite convincing science on the topic showing its simply not possible to achieve optimal T3 in human tissues - including the brain - with T4 only supplementation

i can buy a months supply of T3 online for less than £10 and titrate my dose accordingly

however, it took some months to fully figure out what dose i needed and how much to reduce my T4 dose accordingly
(the two interact to some degree - T3 being much more potent acting on TSH)
