Warm Sensation On Leg That Comes & Goes

Hi,

Have any of you experienced a brief warm sensation on your leg that lasts about 10 secs and goes away? It just randomly comes and goes. I have had many different Lyme/Bartonella symptoms over the years but this is new. It just started two days ago and it’s on my calf. I have had typical Bartonella burning sensations before but that was always around my ribs. This feels like I there is a heating pad on my leg. It’s really weird. I am currently taking Rifampin and Minocycline. I have been on it for over a month and this is my first time officially treating Bartonella so I am wondering if this could possibly be some type of herx? Or wondering if the drugs potentially are causing some type of neuropathy? Anyways just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.

lyme /bart are known to cause various signs of neuropathy

these are often transient coming and going at random

the sensation may be anything from
-pins and needles
-biting / stabbing sensations
-numbness
-tingling
-burning
or just super sensitive patches of skin ( eg just touching the skin lightly can be painful)

basically it can be any sensation our nerves are capable of generating

its not normally anything to worry about as usually goes as mysteriously as it arrives
that might be more common when experiencing herx like reactions - as inflammation is higher at these times - including around nerves etc - so its more or less expected
