Hello everyone
I wrote here on the forum recently that I have come far in my healing journey after few years on herbs but never near 100%. Now I have decided to take antibiotics to hopefully end this war.
I am fighting chronic Lyme and Bartonella, now together with LLMD.
I started this post to be a place for my and your reflections about my healing journey.
The plan is to start quite mild, apart from probiotics, supplements and detox:
- Doxycycline twice a day
- Fluconazole once a week for candida
- Tinidazole on weekends (for now to see, to avoid strong reactions on weekdays)
- I will add Bactrim after two weeks
This will be adjusted as needed.
I started on Wednesday, February 5th just with Doxy.
The first dose gave me a lot of nausea but I started taking Doxy after food and it helped a lot!
Two days after starting, my mood changed a lot, and it’s shifting from irritability, anxiety to crying.
This was one of my biggest symptoms at the beginning of the disease a few years ago, which was unbearable!
I haven't cried (for no reason) and was stable for many months until now, so I believe this is due to Doxy.
I feel like I've awakened the beast, I'm not sure if I did the right thing 😅
I just hope that this is ”just” a herx and that it won't last the entire treatment because then I definitely won't survive this 🫣
I said that 2025 will be my year, I hope that after the treatment I will be able to live to the fullest as I did before 🤞
I will update this post at least weekly!
