At first glance it does seem too easy, when we're used to doctors getting out their Rx pads to treat complaints.
I can tell from my personal experience, that drinking 3 quarts of water a day has really helped me. If you read my bio, I also purged my body of caffeine, aspartame and all artificial "sweeteners" (actually neurotoxins). This was because I had been diagnosed with meniere's disease back in August (lost 50% of my hearing overnight in one ear). My ENT specialist suggested that I was probably dehydrated and needed a lot more water, not just a glass or two a day but quarts, as in plural. He also made the connection to my 42 history of having migraines. He said caffeine and aspartame were to be avoided like the plague, my ringing in my ear and over all well being would greatly improve if I got off both chemicals.
After I got off caffeine and aspartame, and drained a 1 quart plastic pitcher at least 3 times a day, I began to feel a lot better.
I no longer woke up with a headache. In fact, I no longer experience headaches.
Water is boring to drink though so I just stand at the kitchen sink and down glasses of it.
Word of caution, do not buy the crystal light powdered packs or small bottles of flavorings for tap water - they all contain aspartame and this chemical induces 92 dire and very serious side effects - one of the 92 is migraines.
If you want to flavor your water, just add a little freshly squeezed lemon or orange juice.
I commend you on finding a great doctor!
