Hi,
I am posting a question for my mother, who has had relapsing MS for 25 years. Her health recently deteriorated very rapidly and her cognitive functionality is at least 75 percent less than it was a year ago. The neurologist thinks she is doing well for having the disease as long as she has, however I am hoping to find ways to improve the quality of her life.
My question is, while taking antibiotics for a secondary infection, she improved. I know there are studies showing they can be beneficial, however the ones I can find are rather dated. What I am looking to find out is if anyone on this board is taking antibiotics for their MS and if it is helping. Was your neurologist on board?
Thanks so much,
