Numbness

I was diagnosed with ms about 6 months ago however, the initial reason I went to the dr was because I woke up one day about a year and a half ago and my face was numb on the left side. Not paralyzed just numb like I had been to the dentist and was wearing off from the Novocain.
The numbness never goes away however, is more prominent on some days. The numbness is different now although still mainly in my face is in my left ankle now. Does any body know, does this sound like typical symptoms for ms. Thanks so much. Michele
