I have yet another ?

I feel like I have so many questions and I feel addicted to this site!
My new question is:
Does anyone clean out the bag with water? I mean rinse it between changes. Or is that a bad thing to do?
The reason I ask is because when I see the poop around the stoma, it makes me feel dirty. I like to clean around it. Also, after the second surgery, I noticed there was no odor this time and I was thrilled, but now that's changing and the odor is coming back. I didn't think of this b4 but it's probably due to the fact I'm not on antibiotics anymore and the gut flora is coming back. DUH! But I can smell it even when it's not full. I hope that calms down. P.U.

I rinse my pouch every time. Some say that rinsing the pouch with water will wear away at the wafer seal but I get at least seven days between changes so it doesn't hurt my wear time.
