I ate chinese food how long does it last?

I just got back from our favorite chinese resteraunt and I usually just order an entry and rice. I was with my best friend and neither of us are very big eaters so we ordered egg drop soup, egg rolls and crab ragoon. Before I left the place my pouch was huge and full of air; I burped and empties 30 min, ago and it is poofed up again. Was it the cabbage?

yup, it was the cabbage... and onions (raw or cooked) can do the same.

I'm with vette guy and NASCARon, it's just gas, try not to analyse things too much :) I'm glad you enjoyed the meal - I love Chinese food!

I did take Beano, even went to the store on the way because I didn't have any in the car and purse. I've been before but always have an entree and have had moderate gas but holy cow!!! I ended up changing the wafer and pouch about 4 ish this a.m. because I think it blew a hole in it and this morning I had tons of watery liquid coming out. It seems to have settled down this afternoon.
Thank you for all of your comments I was getting a little nervous and I agree I did enjoy the outing with my best friend but next time I'll know how to order.
