Well, today we found out that we are having another girl!

I am very excited to have another girl, and she looks healthy too! And my daughter is thrilled because she soo wanted a little sister!

The only problem the dr. had during the ultrasound was that baby kept hiding behind my stoma tongue so he couldn't get all of the views of her heart that he'd like to get. He said that he is not anticipating anything wrong, but wants to make %100 sure, and so I go back in 2 weeks.

YAY!

I just wanted to share.

Now, if only my husband and I could agree on a name.......

Hare your pregnancies went well. My husband wants a child and I worry about trying to have one with all the medications I have been on and the ileostomy also.

Congratulations!! yeah How cute that she was hiding behind Lefty! There's nothing quite like the lifelong friendship and bond that is formed between sisters. Mine is my BFF. I'm so happy for you all! smilewinkgrin

I was also scared about being able to get pregnant after everything, but we only tried for 2 months! It happened a lot sooner than we expected. Also, I was on soo many meds with my first pregnancy, but it went fine too.

I was followed by the perinatologist with my 1st daughter, Elliott, and will be followed monthly by them again. So, yes Summerstorm, I will gets lots of pictures!- huge benefit.

I am so excited that my daughter will get a sister. I had two little bothers, no sisters, and I wanted one, so I was hoping for another girl- and I have all of Elliott's beautiful baby clothes, that I just haven't been able to part with. Although, a boy would have also been a blessing we would have been excited for!

Elliott (who is 3) went with us and she likes to say now (to everyone, unfortunately) the baby likes to hide behind mommy's stoma! She thinks it's cozy! HA!

     Wonderful news!  The best of luck to you and your family.  We raised two daughters....wait till the teen years rolleyes , but we love them to death.  They are now 38 and 33 and we are closer than ever.
