Metal dectors?

i have 4 staples inside me that the doctors put in to hold things? i thought 4 sounded like alot but i guess you gotta staple something gotta staple something lol.. but i was wondering is it possible it can set a metal dector off? im going to las vegas in like 1-3 moths "over spring break" and im flying through a few places and was wondering if it can should i get a note from a doctor? i mean i wouldnt mind getting searched im use to it. "ehh.. long story :D " but yeah..
