Odd discharge from closed end of temp loop ileo

I know it is normal to have some discharge into the bag from the closed end of the loop ileo but I've noticed this eve that there has been a fair amount of discharge but it definitely isn't the usual mucous. It is thick and apricot coloured and very much like the stool but definitely isn't coming from the mouth of the stoma - rather from the loop end next to it. I'm concerned there may be something not quite right. Any ideas?

This happens to me sometimes. If I get really thick output or maybe sort of a partial blockage, some slips past and ends up in the other side. Usually that night or the next day it will come out. Sometimes it ends up pushing under my wafer and causing leaks which sucks. Perfectly normal though.

I can't figure out why they don't mention this and rectal discharge as potential situations you'll see to more ostomy patients. It seems like a pretty common occurrence and wasn't mentioned in any of my patient education materials, etc.
