I have psoriasis and my ileostomy bag won't stick

Help!! I have psoriasis all around my stoma and my ileostomy bag won't stick. I have even tried sticking double sided medical tape over top of my psoriasis and under the adhesive but the tape doesn't stick as well. Does anyone have any suggestions? It would be greatly appreciated.

Have you seen anyone about this problem? Sounds like you need both a dermatologist and an ostomy nurse .... there are prescriptions that can help a lot. Putting tape on raw skin seems painful to me.

You could also try some of the suggestions on the thread about an allergic reaction to the barrier ring....

And if it's chronic you might want to consider k-pouch surgery.
