Happy one year "stomaversary" to me!

This has been the most incredible year. No more pain, being able to do what I want, go where I want, eat what I want. My stoma has never been much of an issue...I adjusted pretty quickly. I love my new life and I'm so very happy. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.

Thank you to all of you...the very best support group, for always being there with advice and answers to my questions. I wish that we could all get together so I could hug you in person.

I don't know how I would have managed without you!

Congrats Caren on your one year anniversary. Mine is coming up this July and I echo your sentiments one hundred percent. Life is to enjoy and not just exist. Again, congrats.

I can't believe it's already been a year! Amazing how time flies when you're feeling good, huh? I'm happy for you- here's to another great healthy year!

Equestrian Mom, I remember my surgeon saying to me at my consult that he never had a patient say....Gee, I wish I would have waited a little longer.
Now I understand why!
