I would definitely get them pretty regularly if I were you, since you're on no meds. Three of the four scopes were in a span of a month because I had a stricture that they were trying to open up with balloon dilation. That failed and I had to have surgery to remove it. Fun. My new GI wants me scoped every three months for now because we don't know what caused the stricture (no signs of Crohn's recurrence in any of the scopes) and we want to make sure I don't start developing more. So, I'm sort of a special case. Every six months for you sounds reasonable, at least to start to make sure nothing is brewing. Ileoscopies are so much easier than colonscopies - no prep meds and no butt burn from the prep.
