Hi everyone, Today was my daughters first day of school after being homeschooled last year. She had her surgery this February and her take-down in April. She left for school today smiling from ear to ear. I cried as if this was her first day of kindergarten. She is a junior. So yes their is life after surgery. I want to thank everyone for all their help. This site is amazing. To think a few months ago I was trying everything to avoid surgery.

I am so happy for your whole family. There is nothing better than to see the smile on their face and the sparkle in their eye!

So glad to hear some positive and encouraging news! we are looking forward to a similar outcome after six months of trying everything to avoid surgery. My son was only able to make it to school for the first four days this year. We are very scared and I don't think there is enough Xanax in the world to calm my nerves.

The best to your daughter and I hope that she has a wonderful Junior year!
