Irritation remedies

I didn't close the bag properly today and a bit of it leaked onto my skin. It's burning there, it's irritated so much. :( Does anyone have some fast remedies? My friend told me to rub Vaseline on it but because it's rubbing against my pants that doesn't help much.

I used to in the beginning, through trial and error, have pouches with the clip closure. If you don't properly clean that tail, it will leak. So, a couple of times, I had skin irritation and it does burn like heck. I used Neosporin or at the time, my abdominal wound was open and was using Bacitracin. Bacitracin is in Neosporin, and in Bacitracin...small amounts of Bacitracin are dissolved in petroleum jelly. So Vaseline alone is not wrong treatment, but if you don't have allergies....this is a better alternative.
