Stoma with multiple holes.

So my sister has a stoma with multiple holes that have formed over time...5+ I believe with feces coming out of most of the holes. The drs say there is nothing that can be done and don't consider this a big enough issue. She has gardners disease / syndrome and apparently has Desmond tumours that formed after surgery. So they said redo surgery or any attempt to fix the stoma would just make it worse... At this point it's like they are saying just wait till you die.... Or at least that's how I feel. Does anyone have any similiar experience or knowledge that possibly help. I'm in Canada so maybe the medical system just sucks here.

I think the sister has five holes in the stoma, which means it's all coming out of the stoma like it's supposed to, but that for some reason her stoma must be breaking down. I don't know anything about those diseases, so I can't help with that. Are the holes causing problems or pain?
