hi everyone,
I had part of my colon removed 4 weeks ago and a temporary colostomy bag put in. I am on a low residue diet, and slowly introduce new foods back in. I'm mainly eating whole wheat bread, cereal, soy milk, chicken, turkey, fruit, some vegetables and eggs. I still am not eating a regular size portion. I fill up quickly. The most I can eat is a half sandwich at a time and I'm done.
But the problem is, is that every time after I eat, probably 10-15 minutes later when I stand up, I feel really sore in my abdomen when walking around. Other times when I haven't eaten, I don't feel this sore.
Is this normal?
