colostomy and urostomy ......With complications

Hi there. ...was wondering if anyone can help with advise.......my mom is a cancer survivor but dealing with after affects of radiation burn.....
Because of that she has had to have an urostomy and colostomy bag....Both permanent. The urostomy has a fistula leak from the left kidney so she has a nephrostomy (spelling?) (Tube straight out her right kidney) so that we can give the fistula time to close. ...next scan in December. She keeps getting urine infections that is making her very weak. Also a bit scared as she started having the feeling of wanting to pass a stool and she actually did today (not sure which colostomy she had. ...will be contacting doc tomorrow)
So basically just want to know if there is someone out there with both bags and how they coping? I have been reading a lot on these chats and everyone seems to agree that there is not alot of expertize out there on these issues......fending for ourselves.....
