My first time using one last night. I molded it out about
1 1/2 " but it feels like I have a washer in there. Works great to keep the powder down that I am using for my yeast infection. Can you taper the edge farthest away from the stoma?

Yes you can taper the sides down. That's how the ostomy nurse did it when she first started me using them. I now keep mine thick because I get a little better wear time. But really it's like play dough you can shape it however you want it. Just keep working with it til you get just what you like. 😊

Yes I taper down the sides. I've been using a slim ring with my convex.

I apply the seal to the wafer, heat with a blow dryer, then install over my stoma and press for a few minutes.
