Best medicine lock box?

My husband has PD with dementia. I have taken over his med schedule but he keeps dosing himself in addition to what I give him. Pills are kept in a six time a day seven days a week dispenser with an alarm that goes off for each dose. He keeps bypassing the system and taking doses from the larger pill bottles. Does anyone prefer a particular medicine lock box?

Just a thought, perhaps go to an office supply store & see what they have available. The size will dictate how many medication bottles one will hold, plus the pill holders you are talking about. I would pick one that you put in the combination to unlock it. Also, think of a hiding place that has easy access for you, but do not let him know you have invested in a safe.

Unfortunately, according to research done by Forbes and the NYT, combination locks are much easier to break than a keyed lock. I already tried office supply stores and they had very flimsy locks on what little they had. I will try a medical supply store next. Wish me luck!
