Radiation Therapy after prostate removal

What is the accepted psa level where radiation therapy should start after surgery, I have read somewhere it is .4 is this correct.

I believe it can be any time after you've healed a little. In my case, with a positive margin, it was not dependent on my PSA level, which was below 0.02. I'm sure different doctors have different opinions about when to start adjuvent therapy.

Just out of Radiation Loma Linda Proton :First post PSA .15 / DOWN I think from .2    I was told you have the best information they have tells them that .5 and below gives you the best chances of recovery they did make it clear the earlier the better to begin above .5 seems to show a lesser chance by the numbers now of recovery /Best of luck

It's not alway's the PSA that's the deciding factor after surgery. In my case it was a positive margin and prior to radiation my PSA was minimal .1

This is a contraversy. I chose not to wait. But my cancer journey is carved with irony. Sonce my first ever PSA at 19.8, I have never had a climb in PSA. But All of my doctors told me I needed to take immediate action. Radiation was not the only action I took. While I have an advanced case, I have shied away from Chemo, but might have benefitted from it as new studies are showing. I am also into HT a year. For me <0.1 was the right time to hope radiation could still be used. We'll see if I made the right call.  It could take a dozen or so years.
