Well, the wifey and I are off for our trip to St. Petersburg, FL in the morning.  My first real vacation in over 8 years (I don't count medical crisises and unemployment spells as vacation time).  Didn't think my poor wife was going to make it till Friday this week, she still did about 55 hours (the joys of being a nurse).  St. Petersburg is where I started college after getting out of the Navy, where we met, got married, and lived for the first year.  She still has two brothers in the area.  She has been back several times over the years, but it's been 20 years for me, so I am sure a lot has changed.

We decided no laptops or internet on this trip.  Just sand, ocean, and sunshine.  And hopefully lots of good seafood.  So for all my non-fans, lol, you will get a good no-Purgatory 5 or 6 days.  Not even going to lurk.

I hope we get some new zero club reports  in while I am gone.  Look forward to re-joining you all when I return.

Thanks Ralph, CPA, and Ohio, no chance of the bronze God, all my life, I have low tolerance of heat and sun, in the old days as a kid, use to get what they called "sun sickness", probably why I spend most of my life indoors, at least when its bright and sunny. I was happiest living in the climate of northern NH years ago, but I married a Florida cracker girl, and she couldn't handle the almost -40 F and around 100" of snow in the winters there. It will be a fun memory lane trip though, none the less, and her two brothers will be competing to see who can spend the most money treating us out.
