Orgasm difference pre and post Da Vinci Prostectomy

Several of us have found that using what we call a pump plumping technique can get the percentage up to almost 100%. You use a penis pump and penis ring. Pump up about 1/4 or so, just to a little plump, apply the penis ring and then inject. The pump pulls blood into the cavities and expands the walls of the cavities, the ring holds the blood- and drug- in the cavities. From there, a gentle massage to spread the drug out and hold in the blood and drug mixture for 3 to 5 minutes will allow for expansion of the cavities, allowing for a more accurate needle hit and the adsorption of the drugs, rather than letting it run back out of the penis during normal blood exit. Inject halfway from the base and the head of the penis, at the 3 and 9 oclock positions.

REcovery of function can take 2 years or more. I think most peoples experience is a slow improvement of function. At 6 months, you still got lots of time to go and there's plenty of time to recover. I am at over 2 years, and still not recovered, so it can take a long time, and sadly sometimes it may never come back. Wait a while before getting too concerned about it.

In the beginning, it just plain sucked but after the first year the orgasms have differently exceeded the days of the juice. They seem to last longer and be more intense. LOL, no fighting on who has to sleep on the wet spot.

I am approaching three years post DaVinci surgery (34 months).  My orgasms were very bad for the first year, but have improved over time. Still not anywhere near pre surgery.  Sometimes it is just a quiver and then too sensitive to continue, sometimes pretty good. The intensity of stimulation makes a difference, less during intercourse and more with manual stimulation.  That is how we often finish.

I successfully use bimix with 100% results using about .25.  I had excellent pre surgery performance, but I think age is a real factor.  I am unable to get a usable erection without the bimix injections.

You will start getting nocturnal erections when it is getting better. Now, just cause you get an erection at night or in early AM, does not mean you are out of the woods, but that is a crucial sign. For me, the morning wood has gone completely. But with a lot of work I can get an erection - rarely usable without drugs - it goes away too fast. Also, how norny you are feeling has a lot to do with it. I'm afraid many of us are suffering performance anxiety and not even realizing it. Try viagra at night. See if you get erections.

Rarely do the orgasms during intercourse become anything like they were. Now, with manual, they are very intense - much more than before and longer. There is some solace in that!

You guys with dry orgasms, you don't know how very lucky you are. I would give anything to be able to have a dry orgasm.  Since my surgery in 9/2007, whenever I have an orgasm now, I will ejeculate urine.  Matter of fact, I ejeculate urine with more force now without my prostate than I ejeculated seman with my prostate.  With a good intense orgasm, I can hit the ceiling when I ejeculate.

I have tried  to empty my bladder before sex, but I will still ejeculate some urine with orgasm and drip during foreplay.  The doc says urine is steril and will not hurt your partner if you get some in her, but just try telling that to a woman. 

I tried using a condom, but then I can not maintain a erection because I can not feel anything. You don't know how frustrating this is.   I was very lucky to have no ED issues after my surgery, and I can get a pretty rock solid erection without any drugs, but as soon as I get aroused, I can actually feel my splinkter muscle start to relax and I will start to leak.  I have to cover the bed in towels so I don't wet the sheets.  I also have to be very carefull during foreplay so I don't drip on my partner. Taking all these precautions take all the fun out of sex now.   Boy, what I would give to have dry orgasms.
