Yes, yes, yes. Everytime I have a PSA test since my surgery, I have some apprehension. Sometimes it is a lot, other times not as much. Is getting some better with repeated tests all showing OK. But the first one especially was just as you describe.
Before I was diagnosed and had surgery, I didn't want to know. Now I would say I would prefer to know quickly. Instead of the dreading the news, I am anxious to know so I can take action.
Being informed is the best line of defense a person can have. So learn all you can about this. If you don't have it, then the info you learn will help you stay well. You can learn healthy meals, learn what foods are high in antioxidents, what exercise program would be good, etc.
