Today I can report on a small victory in the battle with incontinence. Saturday I swapped out my Depends guard regular strength for a female light days pad. I hardly leak at all, but find a pad gives me more security. With the change to a much smaller pad, I am able to unzip and stand up to a urinal, pull my unit out, and let fly. No more stepping into a stall and dropping trouser.
After the New Year, I joined a gym to try to lose some of the 20 pounds I’ve gained since starting HT back in October. Stepped on a scale today, and am down 6 pounds. Small victories. That’s what is keeping me going with a positive attitude that I will beat this disease.
BTW, I completed RT Treatment #3 today. 29 to go.
All the best.
