Hello,
I've posted this topic previously in one of my old posts, but no replies. (September 23, 2010)
I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this growth as the result of their radical prostatectomy surgery using the DaVinci Robot.
This surgery was performed in January of 2009. (I'm still having incontinence and ED issues)
In March of 2010, the CT scan measured this at 5.9x7.2 fluid density lesion in the left iliac chain, causing mass effect on the urinary bladder. (causing me to urinate more) This past June, another CT has noticed this lesion has grown to 6 x 7.6cm.
My Surgeon/urologist told me this happens after this type of surgery, but in trying to research this online, I have not found one supporting instance.

I asked the Dr. if anything should be done, and he said no. I guess I'll be fine with that as long as it does not rupture or explode. His PA told me my body would assimilate it back into my system, if it did leak.
The other option is to go to Intervention radiology and have them extract the fluid from my lesion.]
