Considering there is no 100% proof on the POM subject, amazed at how many buy into it. Again, no harm will come from drinking it,.....

David you are right, but there is such a large amount of formal research, almost proving the basis behind "The French paradox" and "The Mediterranean Connection".
VERY, VERY few docs will even acknowledge the claimed benefits of the Anti-Oxidants/OPC's that are behind the true facts.
They won't admit it because it is not "Conventional Medicine" and their Insurance will not cover Law-Suits from patients who consider that their "Treatment Failed".
At under $40 for three months 'Protection' , the stuff that I use (OPCXtra) is great value and both the Bride and I and many family members/friends can guarantee it's benefit for Arthritis. We cannot prove other benefits, but we know that the crunching in the knees has gone when walking up steps. The bride can now thread a needle, which previously she could not even hold , because she could not even make a fist.. Now - she can punch my lights out !
When you believe in those results, then you can read the official medical research and think that they may be very correct or just a bit correct.
I repeat a previous comment - I have personally seen the results on a Brain-Cancer being sent into remission. YES - it may be a miracle, or it might be a placebo effect, but it IS happening and it might be coincidence that the chap is taking 6 doses of OPC each day.
We can only say 'Bar-Humbug' for just so long.. IF you have a problem NOW - you want answers NOW.
I know that this is what the QUAKS have prayed upon for decades, but there IS medical proof that there is substance to these claims for Anti-Oxidants and OPC's...
PS - Do you think that the USDA would go to the trouble of measuring the ORAC value of most common foods, if they really thought that it was all "Bar-Humbug" stuff..
