I don't know if this has been posted before. If so my apologies. It is a study comparing result of various treatment modalities based on low, intermediate, and high risk PCa classifications. A lot to digest. Thought it would be of interest to all and I recieved it from another group.

Well a new guy might find it interesting. I've been here since 2007 and never noticed it before. I'm not sure it is a great idea to assume that everyone spends the same amount of time here as others might.

Postop,
As I recall your issue with the first thread was that it wasn't published so it could undergo peer review and it was only on a seeding site. Now that it has been published in a few places and widely available for everyone to review and comment; what's your problem now? This article also contains a prospective study from Harvard on QOL issues from all treatment options that we have not seen before; that would be very useful to newcomers.

Well I must have missed it also. If it was one of those that turned into a peeing contest I tuned it out. I now have the link and will take a little time to read it through.

Thanks Don for bringing it back it again. May fit into that category for others where if it is not your cup of tea then leave it alone and let it be conversed about by those that have some interest.

Don, thanks for posting this. With a lot of new members including some of them rushing off to surgery, it is valuable to provide some evidence of the efficacy of the alternatives.

I would also like to thank Don for the link. As someone currently in the midst of the decision making process, it helps to know the potential consequences of various treatments and provides me with questions when I have a meeting with the urologist.

I just printed out a full copy of the report and plan to bring it (perhaps with certain points highlighted) to my upcoming meeting with the urologist. I think that this may be a worthwhile suggestion for others who have been recently diagnosed.
