Night Time Urination

Well this thread has me somewhat confused. One reason that my urologist is recommending surgery is because I already have a urinary frequency issue and he says bracytherapy will only make it worse. It's sounding like surgery may also make it worse.

I was dry at night after the cath came out, but only on the basis that i was getting up at regular interval to pee.
Most nights I still get up 3 times or so. I also don't drink after 6pm if I can help it. Also beer in the evening even a small amount like half a pint is bad.
Have to pee pretty frequently during the day too.
Sometimes I am desperate for a pee and then the actual volume is not much, other times I am not aware of beimng full and have simply gone to the bahtroom prior to going out and it then turns out I was very full. I think the surgery may have spared ther nervwes that means I have no ED but it interferred with the nerves that monitor how full my bladder is. (if that's the price I'm paying for being able to get an erection, then I won't complain too much!!)

Also. I cannot believe that your uro suggested that after surgery you would be peeing less frequently. Everyone told me that it would be more frequently. or did you have some kind of problem with restricted flow so that you were going all the time before surgery but not getting much out each time?
