After the aborted attempt at surgery back in september, they're going to give it another go tomorrow. The sept. try failed because they couldn't get the catheder in. I got the dialation treatment, 2 weeks of catheder, a couple months to see if the dialation was a success(seems so), so here we go again! wish me luck...mike

Mike , the 1 core positive and soft gl 7 {3+4} is good, things could change but , I'd be feeling good. Y
ou have allready dealt with pre op nerves,So go in get a nice sleep. Dont take the post op drugs lest you have to, they let you done hard. But if you do have to, stay on top of them specially morphine drip. See you sooner than later, Aloha, Logo

Hello my man, i pray you are feeling good in your post operation state, good luck to you, take your recovery slow
take it easy, do lots of light walking, drink plenty of water, and definetly take stool softener, and prune juice and soft food
i was terribly constipated and it is painful you wont be able to go #2 for three or four days, those meds and painkillers
make you constipated, so prepare for that, eat fruit and stuff, good luck. and all the best to you.

Best of Luck !

Get by on tylenol after the second day if you can so you do not get constipated.

I needed a walker and help to get in and out of bed for about three days

Got the cath out after 8 days, felt much better after that thing was gone

PSA 2.45
biopsy 1 of nine positive, gleason 6
RP Davinci on 10/27/11
Pathology 90% clear, .5 mm from margin, all nerves spared Gleason 6
First post PSA on 12/20/11 .05, Dr hoped for .02 or less, will retest in a month.
Pad free, ED present
