First I would like to thank Steve N Dallas for his service as a volunteer here at HW as a moderator. I was disappointed a few weeks back when I stated he didn't want to continue as a moderator, and I fully understand his reasoning. But a huge thank you is in order and as soon as Peter get's to it his "Veteran" status will be restored.
For now that leaves 142, and myself as the forum moderators. We are looking into adding another as I think that three is the right number. Even behind the scenes here when moderators get together and discuss threads, we don't always agree with each other. Having a third person makes these moments easier. Overall, we are just volunteers trying to help a site that helped each of us in our own journey's. There should not be any stress at all but stress is a sign that we care about
what we have here.
Peter wrote this in the forum rules and I wanted to repost it:
Know Your Moderators:
HealingWell.com Community forums and chat rooms are moderated by volunteers that have some special understanding of your health condition. While they may not have answers to all your questions, moderators are here to help in any way they can. You can spot a moderator because their profile indicates that they are moderators. We are always looking for new moderators to help with our many disease/disorder topics.
Moderators have the right to edit or delete posts without prior notice that violate of the rules above. If you have a question for a moderator on a decision, you can email them and discuss it privately. They may not see things the same way you do, but they are
open and approachable.
Peace...

"Dont be a stranger Steve."
I second that. He is quite strange enough...

Steve, I just flashed on an image of you on some beach, lawn chair in the water up to your waist (so any inadvertent leaking is concealed), with a Corona in one hand , a bottle of tequila in the others, the lime between your teeth and a big grin stretching from ear to ear. In any case, thanks for your service......

Thanks Steve and to all the others past and present. Some jobs are thankless in nature and some jobs dont pay well. But we appreciate you all.

I'm not going anywhere....Just slowing things down a notch.
James C - you were close. When I go to Puerto Vallarta Mexico I drink Pacifico... Corona is for tourists that don't know any better

Steve
Thanks for your great effort. It is the mods who shape the site into something great. That is a thankless job, but someone's got to do it. Just like someone has to drink the Corona. (or Pacifico).
Enjoy,
Jeff
