Aimzee, it's great to hear from you. The bond among those of us in the August 2010 group remains strong! I've followed your posts about Ron's trials and tribulations, and I think of you guys often.
My golf game wasn't good for most of this summer, but lately I seem to be playing as good as ever. For me, that means scoring in the low 90's. Not outstanding, but I'm happy. I seem to hit my drives much straighter since the surgery, and I once thanked my uro for removing my slice along with the prostate. He thought that was funny. Best of all, I took my 9-year-old grandson to a par-3 course a couple of days ago and he actually made par on two holes. Watching him learn the game has been a wonderful experience for this Grandpa!
Earlier this summer, I was put on a daily low dose of Cialis for a month, and it was during that time that the nerves seemed to start to mend. It was like a gradual, slow, awakening. I feel that the constant blood flow to the affected area finally triggered the necessary healing of the nerves.
Will it continue? I have no way of knowing. I hope so, but I don't anticipate posting further about it. It's kind of a private thing, but I thought my experience might offer some encouragement to others.
Thanks for digging up that old post from two years ago. Best wishes to you and Ron. And thanks again to everyone else for the nice comments (even Ed (F8) with that bizarre YouTube video).
