HCV....I'm not sure you need a complete holiday from the drugs, and I personally have never heard of developing a tolerance, though I suppose that might be possible.
However, 3x per week might be something good to try. I know some docs recommend a daily minimum dose, just to keep blood flowing to the area to promote healing. So, for example, instead of 20mg of levitra, maybe 5mg per day, not really trying for an erection. You can get a pill cutter at any drug store and turn a 10mg pill into two 5mg pills and so forth. Cialis pills can be difficult because they're pear-shaped, not round.
Earlier this summer, my doc sent me home with a bunch of Cialis low-dose samples. I think it was 5mg of Cialis daily for a month, and it seemed to be very helpful after a couple of weeks.
It sounds like a good topic of discussion with your physician. Your numbers in your signature look very promising, so hang in there, be patient, and continue healing. Those nerves have been displaced, heated up during cautery, and otherwise disturbed. Healing takes time.
I note from your signature that you are now 24 months post Robotic RP and now recovered from ED. I am now 20 months post RRP and still not fully recovered. I would be interested to hear about
your last few months prior to full recovery and how it went. I am just wondering what to expect over the next few months. I will remain patient up to the two year point, and after that if needs be, but just wondered how the last furlong of recovery goes. Is it still a gradual improvement or do things improve significantly at the two year point.
I am able to achieve partial erections with 5mg daily cialis and lots of stimulation. My urologist is still hopeful that I will recover spontaneous erections by 2 years.
