You are welcome! I get more than I receive from HW and you are certainly a friend and a brother.
I would call them immediately and explain your situation and also get a referral to a good local Uro that has experience with AUS.
You should not be having those problems. My pump is a little "slick" but rests low in my scrotum. It is easy to grasp and even one squeeze with open enough to begin urinating. I usually give it one or two more squeezes to get it to full compression.
I would be very careful about pulling down too hard on the pump/tubing. I am not expert on this at all but this thing gets "seated" in and you might do some damage to either the AUS or your own parts. It should not be that hard. Did they tell you to pull down on this for the first few days/weeks after the AUS was installed? That's standard proceedure until it gets seated in place where is should be. If you did not do this perhaps this has contributed to the problem.
A technique I learned on HW is as follows. I walk up to a urinal, open my fly and pull out willie. while holding willie with my left hand i run my right hand (i am right handed) down inside my trousers between my briefs and trousers. I grasp the pump through the brief between my thumb and fore finger and squeeze the bulb about two times, "one handed". I can do this standing at the urinal with a couple of guys beside me and they don't even notice how I am doing it. I found this much more convenient than taking my pants down and sitting on the toilet. It took a little practice but I find it works great and lets me "go" like a normal person.
If I can be of any more help feel free to email me and we could talk by phone. If you click on my HW name in the upper left above where it says "regular member" it will take you to my profile and you will find my email address there.
