Just curious if anyone has used Forteo, a drug to build stronger bones?
Thanks,
Jerry

I haven't used it myself, but it was prescribed for my wife who had developed osteoporosis extremely early. It entailed giving herself an injection every day for 2 years. The medication also had to be kept refrigerated. When that course of medication was completed, she had to take 2 doses of Reclast spaced one year apart to solidify the bone growth that the Forteo caused. The Forteo did stimulate bone growth and improved her osteoporosis.

Hi my wife recently completed two years of daily Forteo therapy
Dialy injectable. Followed by two annual Reclast infusions.
It is an expensive drug but with good insurance it was easy
Keep getting the bone density checked , but you should do wel
